New IIHS nursing graduates herald sustained FOREX pipeline.

IIHS is experiencing unprecedented interest from Sri Lankan students but also some of the world’s leading health systems, including the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). The first batch of UK-bound students received offer letters directly from the NHS at the “IIHS Heda Nena Waduma” Ceremony recently.

Held the at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, the ceremony marked the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Employment, the High Commission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and IIHS.

Set up to add skill and value to foreign-bound Sri Lankan labour 20 years ago, IIHS is honoured to continue fulfilling a vital national objective, earning foreign currency abroad.  Since that time, the institute has grown to become Sri Lanka’s premier and leading healthcare education institute – renowned for its star graduates, world-class partners, and outstanding research and publication record.
