The Diploma in General Nursing (DGN) is designed to produce Graduates who are professionally competent to practice nursing and to professionally empower qualified nurses with the academic attributes and values required of them in the nursing profession. The Diploma prepares students for General Nursing in both the public and private sectors, while allowing them to academically mature in popular specialized areas as well.
The programme is arranged to provide thorough practical training to the students as well as to comply with the practicing environments of nurses. Therefore, the programme is strengthened with techniques of adult learning, student-centered learning and online learning where the learning can be paced comfortably to suit an adult learner.
